Our approach to contract farming
The Davey Partnership currently manages substantial arable acreage across South Oxfordshire through owned, Farm Business Tenancy (FBT), and contract farming arrangements, giving us the scale to be efficient while remaining hands-on. We typically work with medium to larger arable units close to the Chilterns, but are happy to discuss different acreage ranges where there is a good fit.
Crops & agronomy
Our cropping is based around combinable crops suited to Oxfordshire soils and climate, with rotations designed to protect structure, manage blackgrass and support long-term productivity. Regenerative farming practices, including cover crops, organic manures, and precision input decisions, are embedded across our contract-farmed area, backed by two experienced independent agronomists.
